  1. Unscrew the broken sprinkler's cap, then remove all its internals. Then, extend the guide rod into the sprinkler body all the way through to the threaded fitting.

  2. Insert the Sprinkler SHIRT tool into the broken sprinkler's body, and spin counter-clockwise to unscrew and remove it, pulling it up and over the guide rod.

  3. Thread the new sprinkler body (with internals removed) over the guide rod. Insert the tool and spin clockwise to tighten. Replace the internals and screw the sprinkler cap on. You’re done in less than two minutes!
